Biography
A native of Southern Indiana, Cristina has spent more than 25 years on the stage. Beginning at the age of three, studying tap, ballet, and jazz, Cristina’s love for performing drew her into musical theater. She has appeared in many stage productions all across the Louisville, KY and Southern Indiana area. Some of her favorite roles include The Baker's Wife in Into The Woods, Maggie Winslow in A Chorus Line, and Ruby in Dames at Sea.
A short break from the theater presented Cristina with an opportunity to front a local cover band. From there, Cristina spent the next ten years performing on regional concert stages with the band Raising Einstein. From the Kentucky State Fair to the Chow Wagon during Thunder Over Louisville to opening for Eddie Money at Churchill Downs, Raising Einstein developed a respectable level of regional success. After some life changes, Cristina joined Louisville based original symphonic metal band Sonic Epitaph as lead vocalist. Sonic Epitaph released a full length album in January of 2010 which generated a sold out CD release show at Louisville's Headliner's.
Cristina's true love for performing drew her into the realm of film acting. She has appeared as an extra in A League of Their Own which her first filming trip to Evansville, IN. She also recently appeared in Revenant as the head vampire which was filmed on location at Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, KY and screened at the 2010 Fright Night Film Festival. Taking eight awards at the 2011 Fright Night Film Festival was Cristina's film Overtime, directed by Matt Neihoff. This film obtained national distribution and can be purchased through many stores and online services. She is currently working on projects in various stages of production, all of which can be found on Cristina's imdb page.
Cristina's latest endeavor is photography most notable shooting for Louisville based bands FLAW and Centerfold.
